I had the pleasure of serving as a teaching assistant for Kel Troughton’s 2024 Introduction to Modern Type Design online workshop at the Letterform Archive. During this 10-week course, I thought it would be fun to join along the class and set a goal to create a display typeface inspired by early 1900s European hotel signage and food packaging.
